Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the price include set up and delivery?

A: Yes, although additional fees may apply for areas farther out.  Remember prices DO include sales tax. We handle setting them up and pick-up. Our prices include 5 full hours of rental fun! Sometimes 5 hours is just not enough and we would love to accomodate your longer rentals. Rentals over the allotted 5 hour time period will be charged an additional hourly fee. For any questions on longer rental or additional hourly fees, please contact us and we would love to talk you through them. 

 

Q: Do you deliver to other cities?

A: Yes, but once again please be aware that due to gas prices and BRIDGES around here and the possible need for an extra truck and labor that travel fees can be quite high.  Please call our office for a current quote. Keep in mind if you are over the bridge from us when towing a trailor EACH way of bridge alone is $15.00. Not including gas...if I could get stock in the bridge toll, I would! 

 

Q: Does the standard 1 Day rental time include your set up time?

A: No. We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play. We kindly ask that you please put you party's ACTUAL party start time. We will be in contact with you the day before with set up times....but if everyone puts 8am-8pm, and your party starts at 2pm....well just be prepared to be up at 5am for your delivery if needed. We also, try to offer day before drop off some restrictions apply but for the SAME price, woohoo! If we can get it to you the day before we would LOVE to! 
 

Q: When do you set up?

A: That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the Friday before to confirm that someone will be at the party location. Again please put your party ACTUAL start time so we can figure out our schedules accordingly.
 

Q: We´ve rented some really dirty jumps from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?

A: Yes and No. You get what you pay for there are lots of "companies"out there. You can feel comfortable we have kids and only put out what we feel like we would put our kids in....and sort of a germ-a-phobe. The jumpy will be clean when you get it....from us! Jump Jump and AWAY cleans and disinfects after every rental. NO MATTER WHAT, Whether we do it on site or at the warehouse always always done PRIOR to your use. See from our customers reviews. 
 

Q: Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?

A: Yes. A blower keeps air in the jumpy/unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate pretty fast!  That´s why we require an outlet within 50´ of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords. Please check to make sure the place you want it is within 50 ft, no tape measure...that's okay use your feet and step and just make sure it's in that ballpark, otherwise we are pretty good at judging length and space required. We use our cords because we know it has a strong enough output and the longer and thinner the cord the less electricty it will get to the blower. 
 

Q: What about parks? Do parks have electricity?

A: We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you MUST rent a generator. We rent generators at a resonable cost. Also, some parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day. If you want to save money because someone you know might have one, I cannot stress to CONFIRM with our office prior to make sure it is strong enough. I believe in saving money, but 90% of the time with borrowing a friends or using one that you think works, doesn't. We do NOT carry extra generators on us, ever. Busy summer days we are sold out! If yours isn't there when we are there or doesn't work we will not have the time to wait or grab a generator. We have many orders to fulfill and we stick to being on time or early. We want every party to go smoothly so please give us a call when it comes to generators. 
 

Q: What payments do you take?

A: Cash, Credit Cards, or venmo. If paying by cash, please have EXACT total due as our drivers do not carry cash or ANY change. Please see that our prices given are our cash discount prices. If you would like to use credit card or venmo, there is a 4% increase in your total due. No checks accepted. 
 

Q: What if we need to cancel?

A: 48-hour Cancellation. We are very flexible, but please keep in mind we hold things just for YOU. Please, if you must cancel, let us know 48-hours before, otherwise you will be charged your deposit. Your deposit is non-refundable if you do not cancel 48 hours in advance. Failure to cancel before 48-hours will result in that fee. UNLESS it is due to weather.


Q: What about weather?

A: We are not really aware of how the weather is going to be, well until that day, that hour even. We are flexible with the weather and you will NOT be charged anything if we do not make the delivery. We will wait to decide even until the minutes of your party if needed. We don't want your kids in the pouring down rain. Sprinkles may be okay but we leave it entirely up to your if there is a chance of rain because once we do deliver....it is FULL price. A little sprinkle here and there is okay not too favorable, but if you really really want it and we leave it to you it's full price. Otherwise we wait and see with you how the weather is and no need to cancel beforehand because on a potentially rainy day not too many other people will be lining up for that jumpy.

 

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: Yes. We do require a deposit. A deposit guarantees that whatever fun items you order are confirmed yours for the duration of your rental.


Q: How big are the jumpy's?

A: Most of our jumps (all of our character jumps for example) are 13´x13´. Please note the space required for each jump (listed near the large picture) as some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumpy's need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can´t rub against walls or trees as this may damage the jump.  The sizes listed with each jump include the space needed for stakes etc. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.
 

Q: What about the big jumps? Any special requirements?

A: Check the requirements listed with each unit. Also, make sure you have at least a 4´ access to the area where it will be set up. The jumpy's can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room. If you have stairs there may be an additional charge. Nothing outragous but it is more work and may require 2 people to get to the location. PLEASE LET OUR OFFICE KNOW IF YOU HAVE STAIRS or any other unmovable obstacles. We must know to have a helper or just to be mentally prepared if the location is dificult to get to. Give us a call/maybe send us a picture (even text) so we know what we are working with.
 

Q: What surfaces do you set up on?

A: We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can´t set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl. Proper set-up surface MUST be on your order for saftey of your kids and the wear and tear of our equipment. We do not carry extra sandbags on hand when we deliver. Please make sure the set-up surface is accurate so we can keep everything safe.
 

Q: Can we see a copy of your contract, insurance, and safety rules?

A: Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've placed your order with the contract attached. If a  copy of our insurance is required for park or event located please ask our office ASAP to get it to you, because sometimes they need to be endorsed specially and that may take 2 weeks if it's not on file already.
 

Q: Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?

A: Yes and no.  You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units.  Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time.  If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation.  If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars.  We don´t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
